ANDREW TOMYK
July 18 1942 --- November 28 2000
Andrew was born on July 18 1942 and died
suddenly on November 28 2000 at the age of 58 years.
Andrew was born in Stonewall, Manitoba to Mary and
William Tomyk. He resided in Stonewall, until he moved to
Winnipeg. In 1968 he moved to Langeribmg, SK, where he met his
wife to be, Mary Boucher. They were married on July 26 1969, following
which Andrew and Mary moved to Winnipeg where he worked as a
mechanic. Later, they moved back to Langenburg, where they settled and
raised their family: Michael, Beverly, Kevin, and Jason.
Andrew worked at AI-Mar Tire in Langenburg, until he retired
in 1994. He enjoyed working hard. After retiring, he enjoyed
going for coffee and keeping in touch with distant family and
friends. He loved to be with his family and friends and tell stories
of when he was younger and rowdy. When he would hang out with
his kids, he played like he was one of them. He also played a mean
game of laser tag. Even if you tried to argue with him you would
always lose.
Andrew leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mary; sons,
Michael, Kevin, and Jason of Langenburg; daughter, Beverly
(Gerald Hilton); grandchildren, William and Lydia Hilton of
Yorkton; brother Walter Tomyk of Regina; and sister, Anne Prior of
Lorette, Manitoba.
Andrew was predeceased by his father, William Tomyk and his mother, Mary Tomyk.
