Current Candids Items submitted by Allan Johnson -- Faculty February 2006: While visiting his brother Rollie, who lives in Montreal, Allan Johnson phoned Euphrasie LeSann. She invited them over for coffee and to talk over old times. They had not seen each other for about forty years. It was marvellous to get together and renew our acqaintance, and to talk about the students and teachers at SCI (1956-57) and the good times we had. April 2006: Allan Johnson attended an event in Peterborough, Ontario, on April 1 2006. While there, he phoned Ken Good (Grade 11) who now lives in Peterborough with his wife Bonnie. They met for the first time in fifty years at a Tim Horton's, where they spent a couple of glorious hours talking about our year at Stonewall Collegiate. At that meeting, Ken provided Allan with the photograph of the old Collegiate building, which is now used on the home page of this website. July 2006: Allan and Joanne have a cottage at Big Point, near Langruth, MB. Ken Kikukawa visited Allan at the cottage in July 2006. September 2006:Jack Bend was in Ottawa at a meeting of a Committee on which he serves. He visited Allan and Joanne for dinner on September 12 2006. We had a great time discussing our school and Jack's current health research. Jack sure looks like his Dad!
